Now when walk outside your front door maybe to get food or grab groceries, you no longer see the faces of people as we walk with garments to cover our faces, this was proclaimed as a safety hazard in order to stop the spread of an infection but the question is does it work against the virus? The sight of you not wearing a mask may make person more reluctant to may be even contact with you, around you or in even some places in the U.S. your not even allow to enter the store with out it. How long will we walk in a world were only eyes are visible and we must remain distant from each in efforts for each other safety. In a world were we walk with mask how we coping with the this pandemic?

In this video i was asked to preform an assignment in which i had to explain how am i personally coping with this situation. This situation has been a learning experience which required sacrifice and change. Understanding that even working with limited resources, still put forth the best efforts into making the best out of any situation. Being out of school I’ve lost focused of the school feeling but through these times and working with zoom being able to still keep in contact with my professor as they try to make the best of their resources into making sure we still learn the content that we still need to learn. I still never lost the school mindset, i looked at the situation as changed we required in order to prosper.

Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen to E Sports at Shaw University this week blog will introduce a topic, a topic that’s has been called deadly, fatal and a Global Pandemic. As you know recently a Virus by the name of Coronavirus or COVID-19, has spread through out the world, starting in CHINA. Coronavirus disease is an infectious disease caused by a new virus. Marybeth Gasman, professor of education at Rutgers University stated several issues of what can happen to students during this Pandemic such his no access to wifi and laptops, the cost of managing online classes, and few IT specialist.

She was able to explain the transitioning from in face class to online class, she talks how it affected her financially and her medical condition as well which makes her an easier target and higher risk of being infected by the virus.
We as the HBCU community needs stick together in efforts of stopping the virus, i know many others are effected by the virus some must put the biggest ceremony in a life time on hold due to this Pandemic, so readers if you are apart of the HBCU community and you want to heard follow me on twitter and share with me your thoughts and concerns we are here to support and let the world know that we have a voice.
Today on Esports we are on blog post #4, this blog post we will be detailing about two things that the same or similar but are considered different. Todays blogs post will be based on sports the difference and similarities of Basketball and Soccer. This post will compare and/or contrast two things related to my blog. These sports are considered to be two prominent ideas, two opposing viewpoints, or two actual objects or products. Both have a wide fan support and are played at amateur, school, college and professional levels. These are some of the richest sports leagues and contains some the most notable, historic and wealthiest professional athletes in the world.

Dribbling
Both sports require dribbling in order to move the ball, but yet the the dribbling is different soccer uses during with their feet and never their hands except for the Goalie who is the only person that can a tally be allowed to touch the ball. As for basketball, players are only allowed to dribble with their hands by bouncing the ball and if their feet hit the ball then thats considered a kick ball. They also both sports that can be held either indoor or outdoor, is a conditioning sport that require you to be able run for a good amount of time and like other sports these sports require you to score.
OBJECTS: BALL TYPES
Differences exist between soccer and basketball, including ball types, field dimensions and scoring. According to Lou Martin List of Differences between Soccer and Basketball published on November 18, 2018 https://www.sportsrec.com/8234790/list-of-the-differences-between-soccer-basketball he explained while soccer typically uses a synthetic ball with black and white pentagonal sections, basketball relies on an orange leather or composite ball encircled with thin symmetrical lines.
POSTIONS AND PLAYERS
After reading Ellis article on the 10 major differences in the Discussion of Soccer and Basketball https://www.exploremenow.com/basketball-vs-soccer/. Another difference is the number of players. A basketball team has 5 players. A soccer team, on the other hand, has eleven. This would only explain that natural that a soccer field is larger than a basketball court.Basketball has three kinds: guards, forwards, and centers. Soccer has four: a goalkeeper, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. The biggest difference is the specialization of players according to their position. Soccer players usually specialize in offense or defense, not both. As for as basketball players which require players to have offense and defensive skills in order to to play. Goalies would be similar to Center because the protect the rim, like the Goalie protects the goal both positions require extraordinary defense.
UNIFORM
Soccer uniforms consist of shorts and a polo-type jersey, while basketball uniforms consist of shorts and a tank-top jersey. Soccer players typically wear cleats, while basketball players wear sneakers. Soccer players are required to wear Shinguards as apart their uniform in order to play considering soccer has a lot of foot action and a direct blow to the shin could seriously damaged a player therefore players are required to wear shinguards for protection
GAMEPLAY
A soccer exhibition as a match, while a basketball contest is referred to as a game. A soccer match consists of two 45-minute halves, while a basketball game is made up of two 20-minute halves at the collegiate level, four eight-minute quarters at the high school level and four 12-minute quarters at the professional level. In basketball, one of the most sought-after opportunities is a fast break, which involves the offensive team pushing the ball upcourt in an attempt to score by getting ahead of the defense. In soccer, this type of offensive attack is forbidden because two defensive players must be between an offensive player, also known as an attacking player, and the goal.

AS KIDNAPPING AND SEX TRAFFICKING RISES WITHIN THE UNITED STATES. Many citizens are not aware of how much courage it takes to intervene in saving someone from potentially being a kidnap, rape or even sold into sex trafficking. The blogs E-sports at ShawU is here to bring news throughout HBCUs in America, our primary focus is not only on sports but news the pertain to HBCU’s in general. This is definitely worth the News Story that my audience needs to be aware of not only because this was involving a fellow HBCU Student but also this was a kidnapping of a young girl which is absurd and the world should be aware of the dangers of the world.
A&T State University located in Greensboro, North Carolina not to far from the great Shaw University student named Cody Byrd, was on his way to get him from breakfast from a Biscuitville located in Greensboro. Byrd is Computer Science Major, he had a off day from class not knowing that he was going to be the reason a child and her mother are still reunited today.
Heather Owen the mother of the victim Madeline Owens who is 8 years of age. Both were also on their regular breakfast routine, when arriving at Biscuitville she noticed the Man consistently staring at her daughter the mother stated that “The fact that when I came in, he was just staring at the girl, and he was just so focused on her. “ Ms. Owens mother instincts would soon kick in, even though they visit this same restaurant on the regular her intuition would be in her favor. The young girl Madeline asked can she used, the mother states this is a normal routine for her daughter so she thought nothing less about it, she asked her daughter will she able to go alone and of course she answered yes. The perpetrator, who name was mentioned as Timothy Fry, saw the opportunity and went with it he followed the young girl as she heads towards the bathroom.
But nevertheless Madeline’s mother intuition turns on as she felt the vibes were off, she saw Mr. Fry follow her daughter to the bathroom but knew it wasn’t a coincidence but she didn’t want to prejudge anyone but also tried to keep an eye on her daughter. Mr. Fry was waiting at the doorway for the young girl but it so happened that Byrd was entering the restaurant and saw Timothy attempt to abduct the young girl. Byrd was able to stop the kidnapper as he grabbed the young girl, she ran back to her mother in fear and Byrd was able to capture snapshots of Fry and also his vehicle that he was driving which led to his arrest hours later. You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
